| Tammy M. Guelfo, CPA
Tammy Guelfo is a Certified Public Accountant providing individuals and businesses with income tax planning and business consulting. With over 15 years in practice, she has a broad base of knowledge in the performance of audits, reviews and compilations. She also has extensive experience in tax planning and preparation for individuals as well as various types of businesses including non-profits. She focuses mainly on business and tax consulting for closely-held businesses and their owners in areas such as cash flow management, budgeting, accounting systems, tax minimization, and multi-state taxation.
Ms. Guelfo earned a B.S. in Accounting from Louisiana State University in 1992. After completing her degree she worked in both public accounting and industry. Her public accounting experience included work in both the tax and audit departments of a regional accounting firm where she worked on a large variety of mid-sized businesses and not-for-profit clients. Her industry experience included working as an internal auditor for Tommy Hilfiger, USA, the apparel manufacturer and designer, where she helped develop their internal audit program.
Ms. Guelfo is active in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of CPAs. She is licensed both in Georgia and Louisiana. She serves on the Finance Committee at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church she also sits on the board for Caution & Courtesy Driver Alliance Corporation, a non-profit organization.
She and her husband Michael have two children, Allie and Mikey. They are active parishioners at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. In her spare time, she enjoys tennis, boating, and spending time with her family.
Annette M. Van Curen
Annette earned a B.B.A. in Accounting from Kennesaw State University in 2003. After graduating, she secured a position with Daugharty and Company where she worked in public accounting. Her Public Accounting experience includes work in both the tax and audit fields. She has worked on a large variety of mid-sized businesses and not-for-profit clients. For the last three years, she has been working closely with Tammy Guelfo. Annette specializes in business and individual tax return preparation. Presently, she provides accounting services, including payroll, to a broad base of corporate clients.
Annette Van Curen is currently pursuing her CPA license. She hopes to be certified within the next year.
She along with her husband Jim and his three children, Lauren, Jared and Hannah live in Kingston Georgia. They are active members of Calvary Baptist Church in Rome where Annette and Jim are both Sunday school teachers for the youth department. In her spare time, she enjoys tennis and spending time with her family.
Gina S. Maximin Gina Maximin is the latest addition to the Guelfo Team. For the last 10 years she has worked at Shorewood Packaging as an Administrative Assistant to the Customer Service Department; and as a Customer Service Representative during the last six years of her employment.
She earned a B.S.B.A. in Management of Information System (MIS) from Christopher Newport University (Newport News, VA) in 2004. She is currently pursuing her MBA at Saint Leo University, including accounting classes.
She has lived in Newport News, VA for the last 10 years. However, she has recently relocated to Kennesaw, GA with her husband (Andy) and 8-year old son (Christopher). She is an active member of Burnt Hickory Baptist Church which is located on Due West Road in Powder Springs. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, and spending time with her family
